She is the former co-owner of Hosting Matters, meaning that online technology holds few mysteries to her. But she decided to leave much of that behind for love and passion: she has earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts program at NSCAD University since moving to Halifax. While studying, she worked on a part-time, contractual basis for TextStyle as a Web Content Manager, gathering and posting content on clients’ websites at their request.
She is said to still getting accustomed to snow and long periods of temperatures below —5C. But we believe that is not what she is alluding to when she describes Canada as "cool."
